shame to hear you're being messed about Steven, it's started to look great too.

Andrew Gallagher would get my vote tbh, a lot of others might say they can do the work but with Moorfield you know it's true

Right, had it out with him and long story short he has promised to have the car finished in two weeks (fabrication), if its not the car will be leaving. He's desperate to finish the job he started etc. So watch this space!

well drivers side wing is all welded in and whole front panel is off to start the process of putting the new front end on, the cossie panel for the heater to sit on is in....sort of, in the process of trimming it down to fit.

Getting there.....

Went down to billy’s earlier and got a nice surprise, heater panel all welded in, well nearly, he’s just modifying the fuse box bit cos he wanted it to look better, it did fit in ok but wants more space around it.

Image

Took one of the scuttle panel sitting on.

Image

The fuse box panel with the bonnet hinge down.

Image

Image

Image

With it up,

Image

The out side of the passenger wing, he’s not happy with some of it so its coming off.

Image

The other side, well happy with it, cant wait for the rest to look like this.

Image

One with the heater in under the scuttle panel.

Well Gibby donated a parcel shelf today, plus a couple of other bits, well chuffed, cheers mate.

Going to get the vanish foam spary and it will clean up just perfect!

Talked to Billy and he is replacing the floor pans too, thinks it will be better in the long run. Going out to see it tomorrow, the braces are out and he has been tidying up the bulkhead.

Started to strip the engine,

Got the inlet off,

Image

Thermostat housing,

Image

Image

All the pulleys looking pretty sad, wont be long till its all nice again.

Image

Exhaust and turbo off,

Image

Rocker cover off to get powder coated, realised after that i couldnt get that done before i left so put it back on!

Image

Most of it off, couldnt get the bottom pullet off without a puller so finish it tomorrow and start cleaning!

Image

Went over to Billys to have a looksie,

He had the heater box in to check it out,

Image

and the two bin bags of loom ready to put in to check the fuse box fits ok,

Image

And the angle on the fuse box that i never knew was there so it will fit in nice and straight on the bulkhead.

Image

He had the passenger sill off and found some more rot that he needs to deal with!

Image

Image

I am going back over tomorrow to measure the boot floor so i can get my fuel cell made and sent to billy while i#m away.

Image

enjoy
