correct on both counts guys!
I went down to largs and picked up the bonnet i needed from one of the boys on here, gave me the thing for free! Guys a star. The cossie has been cut up and the section we need is ready to be put into the escort. Just need to brace the escort and cut out the offending section. I cant upload the pics while offshore, but it looks great, got a fright when he sent me the pics!
Wait until you see this!

My mate, he has a body shop out past Kirkintilloch, he has been painting cars for me for years, I used to buy and sell cars on my time off (work month on month off on the rigs) kinda became pals through the years. Guys the best painter i have seen in a long time, thats why I kept on taking my cars back to him. He was told to make sure that it was braced front and back, seen to many problems with people not doing such a simple thing. He would have done it anyway, he's done this before on a fiesta!!!! He was hoping that my car would sort of become a show peice for his work. Going to get a plaque made for the engine bay with his name and mine on it.

well i went to see the car as soon as i got home, its pretty much the same as in the pics but theres new inner sills on, the olds were rotten! |Billy said he decided to strengthen them too and has some decent size steel plate hidden behind it cos he wwanted to rigidity down the length to help the chassis. will go out this weekend and get some pics for you lot....
