Thats her all mot'd and legal now!...had her out yesterday to ''run in'' the engine a bit...man she's crazy loud and needless to say those medium compound ao48r's couldnt keep that rear end from hanging oot a gid few times lol...would have been rude not too eh officer!

Engine now has about 45 mile on 'er...hopefully get 'er oot again next weekend weather permitting for some more running in.

Some other jobs still to do is fab/wire up speedo pickup and fit rear towing eye I made on sat there.

Will upload some more pics or a vid again soon.

Well folks I thought it was about time for an update as I have been awfy busy with the escorts as of late and havent really had much time to be online or uploading pics, usually just pop em on fb however I have plenty of snapshots iv just uploaded



The last update on AFX was that I was removing offspray... and it worked a treat!

Then it was mot time...passed with flying colours









In between getting the mk2 ready for mot and thrn running her in, I got ''Ozzy'' our mk1 Escort MSA logbooked and done a time trial with her.

Looking forward to actually competing in some rallies with the mk1 this year...thinking some single venue events to start with.

After the time trial and getting the car MSA logbooked I began to think about the actual rallies I could enter with the car...so decided to treat her to some new goodies!...



A nice set of ap's as whats on my mk2 aswell as a set of billy coilovers and new top mounts etc etc...also ordered a new diff...now 5.1 compared to the 4.1...should be ideal on the tight stages!











Since the princess four pots came off Ozzy we decided to fit em onto EOO as she was running those m16 calipers which are good but wanted a bit more stopping power on her...









Been clocking up some miles in my mk2 lately which has been great... also got her all setup icluding fueling and carbs etc checked and I am loving the way she goes...and that loud pedal is fair addictive!

Pretty much my perfect mk2 as well and good to see it getting used as it should - want to hear this thing in action

Been sitting for hours and read the full 22 pages of this build, an unbelievable amount of work and attention to detail, must be some feeling having built such a beauty by yourself, we'll done mate your an inspiration to us all

don't tell me he wrapped it after all that hard work???? ah well gives him an excuse to build another one
