got some more done to the xr2 and its finally up to the repair stage , so hopefully get it in primer in the next few days

heres some pics of the progress anyway as started to skim in the arches and dealing with any rust spots

heres what the arches turned in to after getting hit with the panel hammer looked a bit different

well being doing a bit more to the xr2 and seem to be making progress also done a little bit to the fiesta van too

XR2:- got all the arches skimmed in and done all the repairs and got them all spot primed just a case of going in 2moro and removing the coachline,remasking it for primer again then al seal up the engine bay and get it all painted if everything goes to plan

VAN:- got the new sill so got the other one cut off and got the other one all lined up and tacked it all in place and got ma pal (frst) to weld it on when a was working on the xr2

well got a good bit done to the xr2 again today

got it all masked up for primer then etch primed , sealed up , 2 pack primed then the engine bay painted

all going well should have it painted and built back up by the end of next week :mrgreen:

well been cracking on with the van the last couple of days it got its second prime and sills and arches stonechipped then all painted

hopefully get it built up for the end of the week and the xr2 painted to but busy this week so will see how i get one

not much of an updated but worked a long shift yesterday on the van to get it ready for knockhill today but never made it on as was cancelled not many pics just one of it getting finished of by getting wax oiled and a few of it on the road now , just needs a good valet now , also done abit more to the xr2 today as never got near it last week as was busy but will hopefully be in paint tuesday or wednesday all going to plan :mrgreen:

time for another update ,

well just in from painting the xr2 and its looking good av went a little bit daft wae the camera phone on pics so bear with me just uploading them the now , thers a few pics of the van in there too .

got all the primer rubbed and remasked then stonechipped the sills and arches then rubbed back down also noticed the sound deadening on the boot floor was all cracked so not piont in that letting the car down after all the work so renewed that too .

also had a shot of ma pals spraybooth next door so the shell got done in ma booth and the doors and bonnet in ma pals

heres some pics anyway al let them do the talking .
