Took the series 1 down to MJ racing so we can fit this lot;
Forgot to take some pics of my reyland hyd clutch kit, supra diff and fitting kit from MK Motorsport
Should transform the driving of the car. Can't wait.

Supra diff and new beam in with a bit of work!
My new short ratio box in.
The cars totally different to drive! Can't believe the difference, the hydraulic clutch is still a hit stuff though but it has helped. Now to get ready for its new turbo that is being made and it's new ecu!

Well decided to get off my arse and get something done to this since there a few boxes in the garage for it!
Sorry it's dark but broke my light which made this really easy!
And after a lot of messing around in the dark....
All this hassle so I can fit this in..
It's away to Meercat exhausts (same guy that made the custom system) to get some modifications and so the 2wd manifold will fit.

Mocked up the new manifold today, as we thought the actuator fouls the bonnet. One of the problems fitting a cossie into a mk3 escort.
All good though, sending it back so the boys can get the actuator a little bit lower.
Also thinking about getting the manifold zircotec coated??

Mocked up my turbo again, AET moved the actuator so it wouldn't foul on the bonnet.
And the proof, bonnet closes!!
Also put my new plates on...
Get the manifold ceramic coated now.

Had a little incident when I took my turbo to the hardware place to get the correct bolts to fit my trouser section into my turbo. In my exuberance on the slidey roads my turbo went for a wee roll in the boot! And I did this...
Thought I had maybe burst the thread inside the housing but it's ok and it had broken this luckily.
But we got the nuts and bolts so I got my minions onto the job. Teaching the wee man a little to keep him away from the playstation!
Neat job too
The other piece of the manifolds on but I have bought some heat reflective sheets that I want to put on. That's going to be a pain with all the stuff in place but I'm going to give it a try. Forgot to take a pic!

I was planning on putting a set of Rota Grids on so that nobody else had them, I have 5 stud hubs from a granada 4x4 that I was going to use but I noticed you can get rotas in normal ford fitment. So ideas on a postcard boys , what wheels should I get that are in 5 x112 pcd? Want something original, I'm currently looking at the 3sdm styles.......

had a wee problem with one of the studs/nuts on the manifold and got it sorted today, after that I put my heat reflective sheets on. I've heard people say it's a ball ache to do but that was a nightmare. Not the easiest to do with everything in place already but it will hopefully help with some of the heat transfer.

Isn't that good close up Mel but it was a total nightmare to do, tried to do it in one piece. Oooft never again with an engine in the way!
